During our ":All About Me ":theme the children created pictures of themselves and I displayed them on the classroom bulletin board.
- The children examined themselves in front of a mirror
- They then chose a precut template of a face in their own skin color
- They then proceeded to draw their own faces on the template, eyes, ears, nose, mouth and hair.
- They were encouraged to write their own names on their picture.
Finally they were framed and added to the bulletin board!
